Folder Watch Settings
Monitors a directory for new CGM files and converts them automatically. GUI equivalent of the CLI reforge watch command.
Enabling Folder Watch
- Open Settings > Folder Watch.
- Toggle Enable Folder Watch on.
- Set the Watch Folder and Output Folder paths.
A status indicator in the status bar shows whether watching is active.
Options

| Recursive scanning | Monitor subdirectories; mirror structure in output |
| Profile override | Force a specific input profile for all watched conversions |
| Output override | Apply specific SVG Options independent of other settings |
How it works
- Reforge polls the watch folder every few seconds for new
.cgmfiles. - Already-converted files are not reprocessed unless the application is restarted.
- Results and errors appear in View > Log Console.
